How Does Microneedling with PRP Work?
Prior to the microneedling part of your treatment, a member of our medical team will take a small sample of your blood to collect the platelet-rich plasma. The drawn blood will then be taken to our laboratory for the separation process, during which the platelets, growth factors, and stem cells can be turned into PRP. For your microneedling treatment, Signature Wellness uses an advanced microneedling system to make small holes in your skin. The little needles used don't damage your skin but instead help stimulate the creation of collagen. When the microneedling is finished, the PRP serum will be applied to your skin and allowed to sink in. Once the PRP is completely absorbed, we'll clear away the serum and cleanse the skin.

To see your optimal results, you may need to get multiple treatments right away and then maintain your results with semi-annual treatments. We will go over what to expect during your consultation so you know what will happen after your treatment.
How many microneedling with PRP treatments should I get?
To begin, you may prefer to get a series of microneedling with PRP treatments scheduled every 2 – 3 weeks. Depending on the initial condition of your skin and your concerns, we will develop a treatment plan that restores the health and appearance of your skin. Between treatments, you can schedule a facial or other skin treatment to remove dead skin layers and nourish the new growth.
How often should I get microneedling with PRP treatments?
Following the initial series of treatments, you should schedule maintenance sessions about 2 – 4 times every year. This will vary based on the health and age of your complexion and goals, so we will help create your custom plan. We will be able to make recommendations on how often you should schedule treatments to keep your complexion healthy.
